Sea-freight Services

Express Freight Management has over fifteen years experience in Papua New Guinea acting as an independent liner and port agent, including full liner services from Asia and Australia, grain ships, tankers, timber carriers and general multi-purpose. Offices in Port Moresby and Lae are structured to meet the needs of Principals who require fast effective communications and solid experience in vessel operations, documentation, accounting and customer service.

Import LCL Cargo Underbond Depots

Express Freight Management operates fully licensed, Internal Revenue Commission (PNG Customs) approved Class 5 underbond depots in Port Moresby and Lae for the receival of underbond LCL freight in a secure and accountable environment.

International Household Removals

Express Freight Management has over fifteen years experience as a household removalist and provides professional services in Lae and Brisbane for both inbound and outbound moves.

The Lae and Brisbane offices are able to offer a full range of household removal services, including providing advice on Customs and Quarantine procedures to overseas agents and specialist services such as baggage clearance, clearance of motor vehicles and long term storage. This specialised area is supported by dedicated staff with long term experience.

International Airfreight and Couriers

Port Moresby is the international airfreight gateway for Papua New Guinea with a high volume of hard freight and couriers entering the country, primarily on direct flights from Australia and Singapore.

 Express Freight Management is able to offer extensive sea-freight forwarding services to and from Asia, Australia, the USA and Europe including Germany and the UK. Services can be designed to meet individual client requirements for any type of FCL, LCL or project cargo movement. Express Freight Management is able to offer a full range of services including; arranging seafreight; customs clearance at frontier, cartage, crane and forklift hire, fumigation, crating, storage, insurance, packing, unpacking and surveys.

Customs Brokerage

Express Freight Management offers customs brokerage services in Lae, Port Moresby and Brisbane.

Providing quality customer service is the highest priority for the department, which is provided through dedicated management and senior staff, including licensed customs agents, up-to-date customs software and a close working relationship with our clients.

Transport Services

Express Freight Management is able to provide a full transport service as part of the total service for all clients by having an extensive in-house transport department, fully supported by its own maintenance team.

Express Freight Management is able to provide a full range of transport services including; LCL, 20’ container side loader deliveries, 40’ container on chassis.

Express Freight Management is able to provide a fully integrated warehousing and distribution service, incorporating; customs clearance, de-vanning of containers into pallet racked warehousing, picking orders, local deliveries, nationwide deliveries.

Express Freight management in conjunction with HK Shipping International of Sydney Australia has over ten years of specialist experience in project cargo distribution management, including distribution of educational materials and health kits to remote locations in Papua New Guinea.
